Meagan + Jon | Kilbuck Creek Wedding

We aren’t posey people.” Meagan said to me. Well, hey, neither am I! When it comes to wedding photography I really believe in personality over poses every single time.

Looking at how Meagan and Jon’s wedding came together you’d never know that when Meagan first contacted she was worried being able to pull off the wedding she wanted in 7 months. (A big thanks there to Kilbuck Creek and Meagan’s dad for cutting the centerpieces. )

Their day started off with prep in the lodge at Kilbuck Creek. The wedding party was whisked away for a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Peter’s in Rockford – one of the most beautiful churches around. Afterward we made a quick stop in downtown Rockford before heading back to Kilbuck Creek to take in some of that lush greenery before dancing the night away in the rustic Gathering Hall.
